A Puppet Rabbit and a Convent Mouse 6+

The space of the Maribor Puppet Theatre is a place of dense historical echoes. The turbulent and interesting history of the monastery, which has been home to puppet theatre for the last decade, is a challenge for poetic adaptation, which can also offer a lot of historical knowledge. Two fairy tale characters will help children enter the rich history of the premises: the puppet rabbit as a symbol and sign of the puppet theatre and the convent mouse as the eternal inhabitant of the monastery. With a walk through history and a walk through old corridors, basements and renovated spaces, the play will address the audience with new insights and experiences.
