Uroš understands Ovid's Metamorphoses as a work that is hidden within us, whether we have read it or not. Metamorphoses are ancient stories that have shaped European consciousness. Our way of thinking, the patterns and metaphors we use, all of this is co-created with Metamorphoses. Ancient becomes personal, and personal becomes timeless. The author understands personal literally, so, in the play, he will play himself and you, as well as Medea, Phaeton and Narcissus … Just as Ovid wrote old stories anew in his own way, also the play will rediscover the world of ancient heroines and heroines.
