Hansel and Gretel 3+
PAVEL POLÁK BASED ON MOTIFS BY THE BROTHERS GRIMM / 40 min
At the premiere, Pavel Polák wrote: "Hansel and Gretel, the fairy tale of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, undoubtedly belongs to the treasury of world masterpieces … The story of siblings who get lost in the dark woods and find themselves in front of the house of the wicked witch is one of the first scary children's stories. At times, when children in particular through television unwittingly take in a large number of aggressive images and stories, we will in the puppet theatre conjure up a world where kindness and love overcome evil and hatred."
For almost two decades, the performance Hansel and Gretel, a classical timeless puppet performance, amuses many generations. It was staged more than 200 times.
