Aloneness 16+
Marko Brecelj / Co-production with Institute Delak
With the play Aloneness, director Marko Čeh continues to take theatrical performances to pieces. Aloneness is defined through mechanics and puts the doubt in the living actor first. This doubt manifests itself in two ways: the first way is shown through the story and questions the meaning of life and death. Alongside the actor, we present the physical image of death and its relationship to a living person on stage. The second way puts the live actor in relation to the mechanical structure – an oversized Rubik's cube. The scenes are thus placed in different constellations in relation to each other and tell us a story through movement. Instead of the classic dramatic text, the play will use the latest version of Marko Brecelj's album Cocktail as a scenario, taking the viewer through the literal images within the lyrics.
