The word tzar in slang means someone who masters something really well. The story reveals to the children that the king of animals is not necessarily the tzar of animals, as he does not control his subjects. Lion’s view of reign is introduced in his song, which he rehearses all the time as he wants to sing it at the contest the Tzar of Animals. In the poem, he reveals which qualities he considers most important for the tzar: good looks, neat hairstyle, following fashion trends ... qualities that are certainly not the most important for a good ruler ...
