MARKO HATLAK, accordion
Concert Choir Carmina Slovenica
Marko Hatlak played Bach for the first time at the age of fifteen; and Bach is still the composer he has the highest regard for. Performing his work made him realise that accordion does not necessarily belong to the field of folk and popular music, and thus he started to study accordion at Weimar University. He later joined the group Terrafolk, but now works with the group Funtango, with the violinist Stefan Milenković, with Kapobanda and several other musicians. Marko Hatlak has developed a unique and recognisable artistic approach. He performs various genres: tango, ethnic, Baroque and modern music.
Music: D. Scarlatti, W. A. Mozart, J. S. Bach, T. Hosokawa, J. Tiensuu, H. Ajax, J. Cage, M. Hatlak
