Glitter and Slope ¹⁵⁺

A puppet "telenovela" inspired by Ivan Cankar’s novel On the Slope, awarded at the Visions Festival of Young Theatre Groups as an "exceptionally inventive fusion of puppetry with the serial storytelling of popular culture, reimagining a canonical work of Slovenian literature in a fresh, contemporary, and instantly recognisable theatrical language. Through its skilful and playfully witty dramaturgy, it also establishes a new relationship between puppet, narrative, and audience." Corn Seed Association has been active in Slovenska Bistrica since 1998; its youth offshoot, Seeds Puppet Group, was founded in 2006 and has collaborated with the Slovenska Bistrica Secondary School on productions and educational projects since 2009.
