Sixth Sense 12+
The Sixth Sense project of the Kyiv University of Theater, Film and Television of Ukraine explores the form of multi-sensory theater and develops inclusive performances that take into account both sighted and blind audiences. A plant sprouts in the park. But she doesn't know what kind of plant she will develop into. That's why she walks around the park looking for a plant that looks like her, but she can't find it... But maybe a completely unique plant will grow from it? It is a performance based on the perception of the blind and partially sighted. We experience such a performance with the help of all our senses, with the exception of sight, and at the same time we also discover a feeling that is only ours.
The project was presented in Maribor as part of the international cooperation EFFEA - European Fund for Emerging Artist - Residence program, in which we connected with the Festival internazionale dei Burattini e delle Figure Arrivano dal Mare, Ravena and the SAMPO festival in Helsinki. Project was part of 34th international festival Summer Puppet Pier.
