Kamishibai on the island ³⁺

Kamishibai originates from Japan, where it was developed by Buddhist monks who told sacred stories in this way. Kamishibai is the telling of stories alongside pictures that the kamishibaiya (kamishibai narrator) usually draws himself and displays them on a small wooden stage (butai).
